A Wundexperte ICW is a certified specialist in the care of chronic wounds. The qualification is awarded by the Initiative Chronische Wunden e.V. (ICW) in cooperation with accredited educational institutions.

The Fachtherapeut Wunde ICW – Module 1 (HKP) is an advanced qualification designed for experienced Wundexperten ICW who wish to expand their expertise and take on a more comprehensive role in wound care. This continuing education builds on the Wundexperte ICW certification and deepens medical, nursing, and organizational competencies in wound management.
